1. How many youth are served per year?
We serve roughly 1,000 youth and families (residential and non-residential) between all 5 programs each year.
2. Where do youth come from?
Youth can come to us as walk-ins (self-referred or referred by a parent), or they can be referred from Summit County Juvenile Court, Summit County Childrens Services, Child Guidance and Family Solutions, and other child-serving agencies (including those out of county and state).
3. How is Shelter Care funded?
We are funded by the government, local foundations, individual donors, and some businesses.
4. How can I volunteer?

6. How can I donate?
For monetary donations, checks (made payable to “Shelter Care, Inc.”) and cash should be mailed to 32 South Avenue, Tallmadge, OH 44278. Donations can also be made online via credit card or PayPal.
