SHELTER HOME

Provides long-term (two or more years) residential care for boys, ages 11-18, who cannot return home for a variety of reasons. The purpose of this program is to provide therapeutic resources to help them heal from the traumatic situations that have brought them to this program in order to reunite them with family, or prepare them for independent living. There are three homes with capacity for five boys in each. All homes are operated by live-in house-parents.

Services provided include:
  • Individual, family, and group counseling provided by licensed counselors
  • Intensive Case Management for youth and house-parents (24 hours a day)
  • Tutoring and educational assistance
  • Educational and recreational group activities
